Contest title: Design the working breakCompany: Ferrero Open from September, 24th 2018 to December 19th, 2018 Winner announcement: April 15th, 2019 Winning project: CT Leisure Space Author: Tiziano Coppola and Chiara Ventrella (Italy) 'Ferrero \u2013 Design the working break': international contest launched in collaboration with Ferrero, worldwide leading company in the confectionery sector, with the aim of creating a new interior design project to furnish the rooms dedicated to their employees. In particular, the areas to design were located near the production lines, dedicated to the employees\u2019 relax, during the working break, and to nurture the relationships between colleagues. The response proved truly up to the expectations: this competition collected 180 projects by 169 participants. Altogether 120 countries were involved. This allowed exploring the topic with various furnishing solutions, different features, and styles, taking into consideration very different points of view. Furthermore, the community vote of the projects also showed a huge involvement of our designers, with thousands of votes cast for the submissions. The winner: Tiziano Coppola and Chiara Ventrella with CT Leisure Space:'This project\u2019s born with the goal of giving a newer and stronger identity to what will become the new break room for the use of the employees of the Ferrero company. With different size and measurements, the rooms have in common the expression of sharing and relax, to improve not only the work place, but even the time dedicated to themselves and to rest. Organized spaces, cheap materials and modular furniture characterize this project in a unic way, remaining a simple and elegant ambient.' Thank you again, to each of you.\u201d Contest title: Future PharmacyCompany: Th.Kohl Open from November 29th 2018 to March 04th, 2019 Winner announcement: March 26th, 2019 Winning project: Green Mesh Author: Solo Atelier (Portugal) 'Th.Kohl \u2013 Future Pharmacy': interior design contest in collaboration with Th.Kohl, the Italian leader in the design and realisation of interior architecture for pharmacies. The aim was the research of innovative concepts for the pharmacy of the future, meant as a \u201cretail space\u201d dedicated to the person, his\/her wellbeing and to the relationships. Almost 170 people joined this challenge, with 174 entries all exploring new concepts for the pharmacy of the future. Interestingly, every participant truly put her\/his unique perspective into it, exploring this wide theme from various points of view. The fact that people from 45 countries took part in the contest really explains also the great diversity between the various proposals. The winner: SOLO ATELIER with Green Mesh Green Mesh truly embodies the perfect fusion between the pharmacy as is traditionally considered and the retail future of wellness, where the relationship client-patient gains the greatest importance and the new technologies become the tool to further enhance the effectiveness.
