The best platform to discover Peruvian designers

For fifth consecutive year LIMA DESIGN WEEK event will take place from November 7 to 19, 2017.

Lima Design Week serves as a platform to integrate art, culture and the different design demonstrations which main goals are to disseminate the design importance as a link for the social development.

It also serves to connect local, national and international creative communities, to create conscience and to promote creativity and innovation, always in relation to new technologies.

More than 200 simultaneous activities

During twelve days, Lima city will enjoy several cultural and artistic activities as art galleries, workshops, commercial circuits, seminars and conferences, exhibitions where national and international specialized expositors will participate.

Furthermore, LDW will offer its attendees several integrated routes, as the educational, cultural and design route that will be placed in different districts of the city with an agenda of a great variety of cultural, educational and commercial activities.

There will be promote a knowledge interchange between professionals and generate new business opportunities.

Design Exhibition 360°

In its third presentation, Design 360° is taking shape as an exhibition and dissemination space of the different design demonstrations.

LDW opens a space for project nominations making a national call, addresses to professionals, designers, artists, creatives and groups in order to submit an exhibition project of their authorship following the stablished directives.

Participants must design products that emulate patterns and strategies proven by the nature with the main topic “Nature that inspires”.

Guest Countries

This edition of Lima Design Week has Spain as the main guest country.

There will be diverse artists that will present a multidisciplinary exhibition with the topic “Spanish Identity”.

The author of this important display is the well-known Spanish Architect Jose Ángel Cicero Torre.

Furthermore, from Costa Rica, there will be distinguished design professionals that will also present a multidisciplinary exhibition and will share their experience through diverse conversations in Centro Cultural Ccori Wasi, in Lima.
