Hi Naser, how did you start Amazing Architecture?
We started as a hobby first!
But now, creating and collecting the most important information to help architects, designers and students, is our main goal.
A reliable source that provides the most correct information regarding architecture & design. Currently, we are focusing more on an Architecture Bible that provides mostly contemporary styles, futurism and the best visualizations around the world.
Why did you decide to start an Instagram account about architecture & design? What were your initial goals?
After our success on Facebook, we decided to grow our idea of being an Architecture Bible to other social media such as Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. Instagram is our favorite one though.
Since 2014 till now we have acquired many successes by growing our community. Instagram has been a great source for us to gather architects, designers, photographers and students by using great architectural hashtags.
How much work does Instagram require to grow like you did?
With our passion and love for architecture, we have dedicated a lot of time during the day, since the beginning, to evaluate and review the submitted projects we daily receive from all around the world.
This to be sure of giving our followers the correct information and satisfying answers when searching for official pages about architects, designers and photographers.
Why should designers (of any kind) invest their effort in developing an Instagram account? Is that so important today?
For more than 300 million users, Instagram is the best place for creative and talented people.
It is all about photos, and people love to connect with people, a great way to portray who you are as an architect/designer. It is an easy way to drive traffic to your site too.
How do you search for contents? What are your favorite sources?
There are many great Architectural news/media platforms that we rely on and check on a daily basis.
Searching for architects and designers, creating a good relationship with our audience and give them a chance to be featured on our social pages makes it easy for us.
Also, using the best architectural hashtags drive architecture lovers to us and many of them often submit their projects to Amazing Architecture.
Which are the criteria that a designer should take into consideration to be featured on your page? And how could I reach you and submit my works?
We focus more on contemporary Architecture, futurism, visualizations and sketches.
Our team will review and evaluate works and, if they match our criteria, then we feature the work on our social pages.
Could you give our readers 3 golden rules to properly manage their Instagram accounts in terms of contents and growth?
- Be active and up to date
- Build your relationship with audience
- Analyze your insights in term of impressions, followers and promotion strategies
What are your next steps? Any new project coming along with Instagram?
We have seen major growth in our social pages during these last years.
Our next step is to establish an online digital publishing platform to gather architects and designers from all around the world.
