A-Zero Architects is an architecture firm founded in 2010 by Giles Bruce. The practice is based in London and employs a team of architects, designers and project managers. Completed projects include new builds and conversions in the residential, commercial and cultural sectors.

They collaborate with their clients throughout every phase of a project, starting from feasibility assessments, planning, detailed design, tendering, and continuing through contract administration during construction.

Their goal is to integrate environmental considerations into all of these stages, merging practical, cost-effective architectural solutions with a keen focus on tailoring the design to both the client’s needs and the unique characteristics of the location.

Projects

HIGHGATE HOUSE - The Highgate property in London underwent significant internal reconfiguration, accompanied by a double-height extension at the rear. This extensive retrofitting effort involved substantial environmental improvements to the building's structure, encompassing enhanced insulation throughout and the implementation of a Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system.
HOUSE IN HARLESDEN - In straightforward terms, there is a window without a frame that juts out from the corner, made entirely of glass. Above it, there's a wooden canopy that extends outwards, providing cover for the entrance to the garden.
COTTAGE BY THE THAMES - Situated in close proximity to the Thames River, this undertaking involves the complete renovation, reorganization, and expansion of a 19th-century cottage.
