Bureau Proberts is an architecture firm founded by Liam Proberts in 1990. Between their Brisbane and Gold Coast studios, the architects, urban designers, and interior designers at the Bureau Prroberts conceive, evaluate, and advance projects in Development, Residential, and Public + Art domains.

For three decades, Managing and Creative Director Liam Proberts has guided their skilled team in undertaking projects both on a global and local scale. Their Australian portfolio encompasses ventures across South-East Queensland, including the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, North Queensland, and the national capital, Canberra.

Beyond Australian borders, their architectural influence extends to the Middle East and South-East Asia. Universally, clients commend the firm for its capacity to harness the exchange of ideas and expertise between the Development, Residential, and Public + Art sectors.

Projects

THE EAVES, WEST VILLAGE - The Eaves, West Village, is a project that aims to establish a collection of buildings and spaces designed to enhance and enrich the urban landscape and community atmosphere of the West End neighborhood in inner-city Brisbane.
GLASSHOUSE - Hanging between an ancient, rugged headland and the tranquil, reflective ocean, Glasshouse embodies an interpretation of the surrounding natural environment. It draws inspiration from the contours and shapes of Burleigh Headland, with the building's form harmoniously aligning with the undulating terrain.
ALBERTO VILLA - Albert Villa undertakes the task of conserving and repurposing a heritage-listed workers' cottage, employing a thoughtful approach that places the landscape at the forefront of the design. To address the challenges posed by the steep and confined inner-city site, the architectural solution involves the creation of an elevated terrain that extends from the rear of the historic cottage.
