Chris Briffa, born and raised in Birgu in 1974, established his architectural studio in Valletta in 2004, embarking on this venture at the age of 30. Since its inception, the studio has gained a reputation for its skillful design approach, characterized by a meticulous focus on proportion, materials, and intricate detailing.
Their work seamlessly blends historical elements with contemporary innovations, effectively harmonizing passive-energy design considerations with bold and refined aesthetics. The studio’s portfolio encompasses a diverse range of design projects, spanning from original product designs to the reinterpretation of traditional artifacts and the creation of new structures. In doing so, they frequently blur the boundaries between art and architecture.
