“De-stylisation and localisation, integrate with environment and culture respond to local memories, humanities values and urban spirit”. O&O STUDIO is an award-winning design practice based in Hong Kong, driven by an “Out and Outer” vision. The studio offers comprehensive services across architecture, interior design, art installations, as well as furniture and product design.
Founded in 2018 by Suzanne Li and Eric Chan, O&O believes that every design should stem from a rigorous and coherent process—combining strategic and visual thinking through to end-user experience, informing the evolution of future work. Rather than relying on standardised solutions, O&O is known for cultivating distinctive design morphologies that bring fresh value to each project. With over two decades of experience in the industry, Eric and Suzanne have shaped a studio recognized for its thoughtful, high-impact design. In 2019, O&O expanded with a Shanghai office and welcomed Liven Gu as Partner.
In just six years, O&O has delivered a number of iconic architectural and interior projects, including The Siberian in Hong Kong, Mooncraft Bar and Atelier Intimo Flagship in Shanghai, and Siete7 Bar and Restaurant in Shaoxing. The studio has earned more than 40 international design awards. Among its most celebrated works is Siu Kai Fong, part of the Meet’n Meal public space initiative, praised globally and highlighted by Jinwa Award judges as “a design worthy of attention and learning from peers.”
While O&O’s design ethos is rooted in international experience and innovation, the studio continues to grow alongside clients and brands, expanding into new typologies including playgrounds and heritage building revitalisation. O&O strives to create spatial experiences that not only perform independently but also connect meaningfully with their context and communities—especially with the next generation in mind.
