Sebastian Herkner, born in 1981, pursued his education in Product Design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. During his academic journey, his focus shifted toward the design of objects and furniture, nurturing his acute sensibility for materials, colors, and textures.
In the year 2006, Sebastian Herkner took the leap and established his own design studio. Since then, he has made a mark in the world of design by creating furniture, lighting, and smaller objects for a range of distinguished manufacturers, including names like Ames, and Tradition, Cappellini, ClassiCon, Dedon, Ex.t, Fontana Arte, Gubi, Linteloo, Moroso, Pulpo, Rosenthal, Schramm Werkstätten, Thonet, Wittmann, and Zanotta.
In addition to product design, Herkner also undertakes interior architecture projects, as well as projects related to museum and exhibition design. His design endeavors have earned him numerous prestigious awards, including the IF Award, the Iconic Award, and the Elle Deco International Design Award (EDIDA).
