The elegance of ceramic surfaces merged with technological innovation
Iris Ceramica Group is set to make its mark at Maison&Objet, the prestigious design and interior fair in Paris from January 16 to 20, with an engaging exhibition space that unveils cutting-edge innovations in ceramic surface technology.

Moonlight, Hypertouch®, Attract®, and Full-Body surfaces showcase the Group’s dedication to redefining ceramics, enhancing the harmony between people and their surroundings. This year’s trade fair theme, “Sur/Reality,” invites reflection on the interplay between the physical and digital worlds. Aligned with this vision, the Iris Ceramica Group stand presents an installation that fuses cutting-edge technology with ceramics, highlighting their expressive possibilities.

The central area of the stand showcases the latest technological advancements from the Group R&D team. Among these is Moonlight, a back-lit ceramic slab that creates a warm and inviting ambiance with its translucent properties, diffusing light evenly across its surface. At the fair, Moonlight is brought to life through touch-sensitive surfaces: with a simple hand gesture, Hypertouch® – an innovative technology that integrates with home automation systems – activates hidden sensors to control lighting, shutters, and audio-video systems seamlessly.

In addition, visitors can explore a series of technological “paintings” that display the latest finishes, including the elegant Jewel and the naturally three-dimensional Full-Body materials. The stand also features Attract®, a revolutionary dry magnetic laying system demonstrated with Sapienstone 4D Ceramic surfaces, designed for interior spaces. The creative possibilities expand further with Design Your Slabs, a bespoke printing solution showcased at the exhibition. With its striking color depth and hyper-realistic designs, this technology offers a “wow” factor that captivates viewers.

Through these solutions, the company highlights its ability to innovate in both materials and applications, empowering designers and architects with endless creative opportunities while pushing the boundaries of ceramic design.
