Objects Of Common Interest displayed one-of-a-kind glossy Metamorphic Rock stools at Milan Design Week 2022.

Innovatively exploring concepts, materials, shapes and tangible spatial experiences, Objects Of Common Interest displayed glossy Metamorphic Rock stools at Milan Design Week 2022. 

With a strong focus in fabricating still life installations, experiential environments as well as objects – “we aim to create a balance between long lasting and ephemeral projects whose creative approach arises from an abstract realm enriched with layers of conceptual readings” says founders Eleni Petaloti and Leonidas Trampoukis.

Their work stems from an amalgamation of brainstorming and making between two diverse poles, Greece and New York – switching between the formal and the intuitive, embracing the handmade and the tactile, the experimental and the poetic.

Skillfully crafted from a gel that’s poured and solidified – this semi transparent piece of furniture features a stable nature due to its weight and is surprisingly soft, embodying a unique feel. Additionally, with a solid rock formation seamlessly sitting upon a tray on casters – it’s perfectly ideal for indoor use and available in a mélange of eye-catching vibrant colors.
