With his studio based in San Francisco, John Mauriello is an industrial designer who focuses on utilizing advanced technologies to further his one-of-a-kind craft.
“I told the AI to design a minimalistic sports car inspired by a MacBook and a Magic Mouse built out of aluminum and glass, while also specifying it to create something in the style of Apple’s former design head, Jony Ive” says Mauriello.

Additionally, the AI then effortlessly churned up multiple images using the text-based cues as a reference point and correctly understood the given terms. Nailing the brief, the AI engine works by making variations based on the same prompt – this results in images that are connected by theme, but aren’t essentially the same, making the AI a great exploratory and ideation tool.
