Together, two iconic brands have created yet another feast for the senses
For their second collaboration and made-to-order collection, three contemporary Bang & Olufsen audio-visual icons are reimagined with Ferrari’s signature Grigio Corsa colorway and seamlessly blended vibrant red tones.
The Beolab 50 speaker’s latest glow-up’s sophistication instantaneously pulls you in. Accentuated by traces of a very familiar red, its underlying supreme soundscape capabilities are tamed by an exquisitely delicate exterior. Together with the Beosound Theatre Soundbar and Beovision Theatre TV, the speaker is part of Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari’s second, even more spellbinding collaboration. The design of each piece features a subtle though unmissable detail bathed in Ferrari’s signature red and marks a distinct symbiosis of Danish elegance and Italian flair.
Since its inception almost nine decades ago, Enzo Ferrari’s iconoclastic empire has gradually grown beyond the physical and metamorphosed into a state of mind. The unduplicatable sound of a roaring Ferrari engine penetrates the skin–a pivotal moment that forever changes one’s understanding of adrenaline.
To own an object crafted by Bang & Olufsen has been proven to be just as transformational of an experience. Renowned for its advanced sound quality, acoustic technology, and profound focus on modernization, the Danish design house, which happens to be on the precipice of its one-hundredth birthday, has excelled at turning everyday gadgets into collectible, eye-pleasing works of art.
The duo’s new collection pays tribute to aluminum, a hallmark material for Ferrari’s car chassis, and Bang & Olufsen’s extensive product portfolio. The Beolab 50 speaker, Beosound Theatre Soundbar, and Beovision Theatre TV all share a metallic grey hue matte finish achieved through a meticulous process of anodization and pearl blasting. It’s the first time that Beolab 50 and Beosound Theatre are crafted entirely from Grigio Corsa aluminum–the aluminum lamellas evocative of the side vents of Ferrari’s sports cars–which further enhances the organic, highly blendable shape, sleek silhouette, and fluidity of the speakers and soundbar.
With the Bang & Olufsen logo silk-screened onto the glass top surface and a laser engraving of the Ferrari Prancing Horse as opulent finishing touches, the Beosound Theatre’s finesse makes it an extremely versatile piece. The Beolab 50 speaker’s adjustable acoustic lens targets the sound depending on the size of its audience. The soundscape can cater to both solo listeners via a precisely directed sound beam and crowds occupying bigger spaces via its room-filling performance. The soundbar has twelve custom drivers placed to fill a room with sound in different directions and Dolby Atmos surround sound.
The Beovision Theatre Ferrari Edition TV has an upgradeable architecture and comes in 55-, 65-, and 77-inch 4K OLED screen sizes. The entire sound and vision setup combines premium sound with immersive and captivating visual experiences, turning any space into an outstanding home cinema. The statement piece’s lamellas are paired with textured finishes, and the Ferrari red tweeter ring charmingly peeks through.
Each of these high-end, nuanced pieces captures the pioneering spirit, passion for craftsmanship, and aesthetic prowess that Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari share–and get to expand upon. Whether enjoyed solely on their own or in a trio, each highlights that the objects we choose to surround ourselves with can spark a greater zest for life.
