Projects

AESCAPE – Aescape partnered with Whipsaw to design a groundbreaking fully automated massage experience. The project focused on integrating advanced technology, defining its form, and embodying the brand through materials and finishes. The result is a precise, smooth, quiet system that combines innovative technology with user-centric design.
ANCIENT RITUALS – The Arc is a home-based sauna designed to promote stress relief, relaxation, and holistic healing. It combines infrared heat, calming light, and immersive surround sound to deliver a fully engaging therapeutic experience. Users can access tailored programs featuring meditation and breathwork to soothe both mind and body. Powered by AI, the system adapts to individual biometric data, providing dynamic insights and optimizing the sauna experience over time.
CHEETAH – A wholesale food and supply delivery service for restaurants, Cheetah sought to broaden its reach and enhance its platform by developing a desktop and mobile web version of its iOS app. To achieve this, Whipsaw conducted a thorough analysis of the existing app's features, identified areas for growth, validated these opportunities through user and stakeholder feedback, and improved the interaction design. The project also involved refining the visual design to elevate the overall shopping experience across platforms.
OWALA – Trove Brands collaborated with Whipsaw on the Owala FreeSip water bottle, the nation’s top-selling bottle by Spring 2024. Featuring a patented FreeSip spout, users can seamlessly switch between sipping and swigging. Its leak-proof design includes a secure lid, foldable handle, and removable top for easy cleaning. Available in vibrant colors, FreeSip combines style with sustainability, reducing reliance on single-use bottles. Recognized as one of “TIME’s Best Inventions of 2023,” it redefines hydration.
TILE – Life360 partnered with Whipsaw to create an innovative line of Bluetooth trackers that harmonize two distinct brand identities into a unified product range aimed at a broader audience. Whipsaw focused on evolving Tile's recognizable tech-centric, utilitarian design language while integrating Life360's colorful, family-friendly ethos. The collaboration successfully balanced these aesthetics, resulting in a product line that appeals to both tech enthusiasts and family-oriented users, blending functionality with an approachable lifestyle design.
TONAL – Tonal revolutionizes strength training as the first digital weight system offering interactive video workouts powered by machine learning. This sleek, wall-mounted device delivers personalized coaching and leverages an electromagnetic resistance engine to generate "digital weights," eliminating the need for bulky metal plates. With precise, single-pound adjustments, Tonal provides a compact, efficient solution that replaces the functionality of a full gym.
TP-Link – The TP-Link Tapo Camera Series redefines home and small business security with a versatile lineup of smart cameras designed for seamless integration into modern smart home systems. This innovative series provides affordable, user-friendly, and dependable solutions for remote property monitoring, enhancing safety, and ensuring peace of mind. Featuring advanced technology and a focus on user-centric design, the Tapo cameras offer high-definition video, motion detection, two-way audio, and night vision to deliver comprehensive surveillance capabilities.
