The moment for this highly versatile lighting line has arrived
Designed in collaboration with Yonoh Creative Studios, Moment by Landscape Forms is a scalable and adaptable outdoor lighting line that merges minimalist modernism with robust functionality.
A city’s infrastructure–a collective labor of love of perhaps the most sentimental nature–can inform and inspire in complex ways. Like all mystifyingly multilayered concepts, the devil is very much in the details. The charmingly named Moment, rooted in the mastering of urban detailism, is a scalable and adaptable outdoor lighting line designed by renowned outdoor furniture manufacturer Landscape Forms and internationally recognized Yonoh Creative Studios. Crafted to blend with almost any setting seamlessly, the flexible lighting solutions come with pole heights ranging from 12 to 25 feet and luminaires in various configurations.
Moment‘s core philosophy originates from the power of restraint, as all the pieces enhance the vitality of the spaces they illuminate in bold yet simultaneously delicate ways. Visually evocative of essentialism and utilitarian simplicity, the rich range of variable and scalable options boasts maximized performance and superb practicality as well.
Moment’s pure geometry consists of impeccable lines, perfect circles, and conical forms: everything unessential to function has been stripped away. The basic forms convey a sense of unpretentious order and tranquil symmetry. Fasteners and extraneous transitions remain entirely hidden during assembly, mastering a harmonious balance from base to pole, arm to sculptural luminaire. Moment’s unadorned, straightforward beauty can complement any architectural setting with subtlety and grace.
The lighting line’s highly versatile and adaptable solutions can be integrated into any environment. The collection offers an array of pole heights and mounting configurations, including single, back-to-back, staggered, and spiral for accent and area lighting, as well as catenary and wall-mounted configurations. The multi-head high output configuration at 25 feet provides ample illumination to roadways and crosswalks, while a single luminaire at 12 feet softly illuminates a pedestrian path. Moment’s wall-mounted arrangements complete both contemporary and historical architecture. Upon customization, the materials to choose from are arranged in three color palettes: the Vivid Series – Powder-Coated Metal (Fine Texture), the Neutral Series – Powder-Coated Metal, and the Architectural Series – Powder-Coated Metal (Fine Texture).
Beneath this elemental and elegant appeal, innovative lighting technology, adjustable to any purpose, is at play. The fixtures can tilt up to 50 degrees, lock in 10-degree increments, and deliver up to 10,000 lumens with minimal glare. The engine prevents unwanted spillage with a natural shielding effect (accent distributions), while subtle exterior and underside air gaps ingeniously provide passive cooling around the cartridge. For accent lighting, the hexcell louver option further minimizes glare and limits the visibility of the light engine from most angles of observation. Distribution, color temperature, and general output are all available in multiple configurations.
Moment is Yonoh Creative Studios‘ first outdoor lighting project–a thrilling one, as they had the unique opportunity to partner with the experienced designers and engineers at Landscape Forms to bring the concept to life. Founded in 2006 by industrial designers Clara del Portillo and Alex Selma and based in Valencia, Spain, Yonoh is committed to elevating form to its idealized function. Their ever-growing portfolio includes residential, commercial, and product design.
Above all else, Moment reflects a shared commitment to exacting design principles and environmentally conscious practices on both sides. The visually clean and highly versatile line of lighting solutions can picturesquely adorn any metropolitan space and thus expose all its hidden, seductive rawness.
