Infinite design innovation and ergonomics intertwine to create a harmonious form
Moon chair, the latest addition to Quadrifoglio Group’s Design Living division, redistributes pressure points to the knees, relieving the spine and promoting a natural, correct posture.
Designed by Serena Papait, Moon chair embodies a unique approach to design and ergonomics, creating a remarkable sensation of weightlessness and gravity-defying comfort. In 2023, the project achieved global recognition by earning the esteemed Red Dot Award: Best of the Best in the Product Design category.
Taking inspiration from Scandinavian functional and ergonomic design principles, Moon redistributes pressure points to the knees, relieving the spine and promoting a natural, correct posture. The chair’s rocking movements, facilitated by its structure, encourage an active sitting position.
Moon chair is crafted from polypropylene, with varying thicknesses strategically placed to ensure durability and strength.
It holds the CATAS EN 1728 certification, attesting to its quality in terms of fatigue resistance, static loads, and impact. Neoprene inserts at key contact points enhance comfort and weight distribution.
Moon chair: customization is a key feature
It is available in white, beige, shadow gray, and olive green, with customizable fabric cushion upholstery, allowing for a variety of style and color combinations to suit user preferences and the surrounding environment. Moon chair is an exceptionally innovative design, setting it apart from anything else on the market.
It seamlessly merges symbols, imagery, and form to deliver optimal postural support and effortlessly complements professional offices and workspaces. Its plastic, elegant, and harmonious design elevates it to the status of a true iconic furnishing piece, offering not only exceptional performance but also extensive customization options.
