Resembling a bead in a shell – meet this eye-catching addition to your interiors

Deniz Aktay crafts Nested Lamp – featuring light brilliantly being ‘caught’ and enclosed by two semi-transparent or plexi-glass sheets.

Finding the perfect harmony between material and functionality, Germany-based designer Deniz Aktay crafts “Nested Lamp” – featuring light brilliantly being ‘caught’ and enclosed by two semi-transparent or plexi-glass sheets.

During his studies and work experience – the multitudinous intricate aspects of creating, forming and designing have always been a vital aspect in his innovatively creative work.

“The more I focused on fabricating furniture and objects, the more my enthusiasm grew!

My demand for originality, simplicity, appropriate use of all materials involved, proper element joining, detailing – makes crafting a new piece an extremely interesting challenge every single time” says Aktay.

An eye-catching addition to your interiors, integrating a vibrant pop of color and warm aesthetic – this alluring lamp effortlessly holds the light in position as well as diffuses it to prevent blinding.

“Both its elements are identical, making it efficient and fuss-free in manufacturing as well as costs” Aktay adds.

Spoilt for choice with a mélange of eclectic coloured geometric parts – one is further able to connect and configure different elements with mixed hues as well as variable transparency for their individual needs.

Additionally, this minimalistic illuminating product is seamlessly interlocked with four fast to open fixing elements – making it easy and convenient to replace the bulb and install the light.

Almost like a bead in a shell – its conceptual skillfully sandwiched and protective construction makes the light appear like a precious item.
