A call for architects and design professionals to showcase their work globally

3C Group has announced the opening of submissions for the fourth edition of the BLT Built Design Awards. These awards recognize the outstanding work of professionals in creating extraordinary projects worldwide, including architectural firms, interior designers, landscape studios, and innovators in construction products. Open to professionals, emerging designers, and students, the deadline for entries is September 29, 2024.

The awards anticipate participation from some of the most innovative firms globally. Last year, the awards attracted over 700 entries from 45 countries, demonstrating a wide array of exceptional projects. Notable winners included Kengo Kuma & Associates with Haus Balma, Switzerland for Architectural Design of the Year, Studio Mk27 with Flat #6 in Brazil for Interior Design of the Year, Mosbach Paysagistes with Phase Shifts Park for Landscape Architecture of the Year, and RENCO in the United States for Construction Product Design of the Year.

Co-founder and Program Director, Astrid Hébert, expressed, “The BLT Built Design Awards bring together the best and brightest in architecture and design, spotlighting inspired projects, accomplished leaders, and their innovative ideas. We are proud to support and promote these professionals, both established and emerging, as they push the boundaries of what is possible in the construction industry.“

Award recipients are determined by a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by a panel of esteemed architects, academics, media figures, and industry specialists. Their choices highlight global design innovation, groundbreaking architectural ideas, new sustainability strategies, and creative advancements in architecture, construction, interior, and landscape design. The 2024 jury, an assembly of seasoned architects, designers, developers, academics, and media figures, will determine the category winners in October 2024.

Previous jurors have included notable figures such as Stanislas Helou, founder of Thinking Luxury; Sonsoles Vela Navarro, Associate Director of the Architectural Program and Lecturer at Tulane University; Waad El Hadidy, president of The Medusan; and Thomas Hoepf, FAIA, Senior Vice President and Design Director at EXP Architects + Engineers. The members of the 2024 jury will be revealed later in the year.

The BLT Built Design Awards Gala, hosted last November in the beautiful KKL Luzern in Switzerland, brought together influential members of the global design community.

The event celebrated the exceptional achievements of figures from prestigious firms such as Zaha Hadid Architects and Studio MK27, offering participants a unique chance to demonstrate their skills, network with industry leaders, and share their enthusiasm for innovative design.
