Youngseok Han crafts Conic – a flashlight in an iconic aluminum sculpture featuring design and usability perfectly ideal for indoor as well as outdoor environments.

With the aim of providing colorful excitement to life in the city center, Korea-based Youngseok Han skillfully crafts ‘Conic’ – a flashlight in an iconic aluminum sculpture featuring design and usability perfectly ideal for indoor as well as outdoor environments.

With the busy schedules of people today – recent trends such as car camping have been simplified and made even more convenient.

“Conic was fabricated for the design contest held by Claymore – a Korean camping equipment brand. We wanted to make you feel excited in your daily life by having flashlights, which are mainly utilized only for outdoor activities from traveling to camping” says Han.

Seamlessly combining multitudinous ways of utilizing it, enabling various productions – this conceptual illuminating product is specifically made to be minimalistic and fuss-free. Perfectly resulting in conical formations – Han took into consideration the size and grip of this object as well as reasonable formations that could be brilliantly used as interior accessories.

“I thought about lighting that could simply act as a product in my daily life without losing the essence of a flashlight” Han adds.
