Originally from Milan, Claudio Larcher obtained his degree in architecture from Politecnico di Milano. He subsequently relocated to Barcelona and Madrid, where he collaborated with various Spanish architectural firms. Upon returning to Italy, he established Modoloco Design Workshop, an experimental project conceived as an open space for work and research, harmonizing diverse perspectives and methodologies in design and architectural exploration.

The guiding principle of his approach can be encapsulated in one word: creativity. It serves as the driving force behind all of his endeavors, instilling in him a perpetual need to envision and bring forth new projects each day.

Since 2010, this creative spirit has extended to the realm of social utility, where architecture and design can be harnessed to serve communities, even on an international scale. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions across Italy, Japan, Spain, France, England, and Sweden. In 2017, 2018, and 2019, he assumed the role of “Ambasciatore del Design italiano” for Swisse, Albany, and Uruguay.

Claudio Larcher currently holds the position of Director of the design bachelor and master degree programs at NABA in Milan, and he has also lectured at universities in Italy and abroad.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a range of notable companies, including Danese Milano, Prandina, Slalom Acoustic, RF Yamakawa, Sphaus, Dinos, Celda, Muranodue, International view, Clique Editions, and Frisoli.
