Studio Lampent, a lighting design studio headquartered in Greece, was established and guided by Stavros Kotsakis from 2011 onward. The name Lampent is derived from the fusion of “lamp” and “lambent,” encapsulating our primary objective: crafting lighting fixtures that exude a whimsical glow.
Driven by a passion to delve into the boundless realms of light, coupled with the allure of captivating materials, we are committed to creating collections of unique, handcrafted luminaires. These pieces infuse a sincere warmth into diverse interior spaces, enriching them with an unmistakable ambiance.
Projects
APEIRON – Apeiron is a cubic sculpture centered on the interplay of light and void. It utilizes a neon-esque LED light source, whose rays are intricately reflected by mirrors to craft the illusion of boundless space. This piece is designed to be displayed atop a surface.
APERTUR – Apertur is a lighting creation crafted to evoke a feeling of infinite space for those who observe it.
ARAMSE 01 – Aramse represents a collection of modern, dynamic light sculptures designed to introduce a striking design feature and a unique vibrancy to any interior setting. As observers shift their viewing positions, the sculptures unveil their depth and continuity, enhancing the visual experience.

CIRRUS – Cirrus, a dynamic light sculpture, seeks to infuse interiors with a pronounced design statement and distinctive energy. The sculpture's depth and endlessness are revealed as viewers alter their perspectives, offering a unique visual experience.
DHAZE – Dhaze is an interactive wall-mounted light sculpture designed to explore the merging of colors and symmetry. It features a light ray composed of colorful, interconnected circles that stretch diagonally across a hazy square space. However, when the viewer shifts their viewing angle, the configuration transforms into a more fluid shape, disrupting the geometric harmony.
ÉTENDU – Étendu is a kinetic light sculpture designed to introduce a striking design accent and a distinct liveliness to interior spaces. As observers move and view the sculpture from different angles, it unveils its complexity and infinite nature, offering a captivating visual experience.
LIGHTPATH – Lightpath is a meticulously handcrafted sculptural lamp that serves as a prominent design feature in any interior setting. The lamp expertly guides light through its curved acrylic structure, generating soft reflections and a radiant glow. Its distinctive acrylic shape enables versatile placement on various surfaces, each position offering its own enchanting impact on the surrounding atmosphere. As a completely handmade item, minor variations in form and dimensions may be present among individual pieces.
LIGHTPULSE – Lightpulse, a recipient of the Ung Svensk Form 2021 award, is an abstract, geometric light box drawing inspiration from the patterns of circular pulse waves. It's designed to introduce a strong design statement and a unique vibrancy to any interior space. The light is cast in a circular pattern, yet its full depth and endless nature become apparent only as the observer shifts their viewpoint. Intended to function as an atmospheric wall lamp, Lightpulse emits a soft, warm glow through its specialized acrylic, enhancing the ambiance of any room.

OSCILE – Oscile is an abstract, geometric light sculpture that presents the illusion of an oscillating light pattern intertwined with color. This exclusive piece is available in a limited run of 5 copies, each individually numbered and signed.
SUNNO – Sunno is an abstract geometric light piece designed to serve as an atmospheric lighting fixture. The light passes through its multi-layered acrylic structure in a geometric pattern, generating varying color gradients that simulate the effect of a sunset.
