Founded by designers with diverse backgrounds and international experience, Paris-based creative office Unknown, Untitled crafts a minimalistic collection of ‘Functional Tiles’ featuring a Vertical Lamp – offering a broad range of possibilities for interior design, seamlessly blurring the line between object and space.

With expertise in industrial design and working mostly on product, furniture, UI as well as space – Unknown, Untitled loves playing with the tension in between form, object materiality and rational topics such as changes in societies or cutting edge technologies. 

Brilliantly built around an innovative creative practice based on studying and understanding archetypes – their conceptual work skillfully results in a singular yet discreet production. 

Although trending topics in design revolve around mobility and flexibility – these eclectic tiles take another route, investigating opportunities to enhance sustainability as well as the optimum integration of home appliances.

The protective and decorative functions of this ceramic product are enlivened by multiple ways – while the lighting layout, electrical accesses and flows are integrated into the building itself, the tile serves as a physical interface between architecture and the living space. 

“This project has been in the development phase for two years – we only recently found the ideal partner to manufacture this set of products by hand with a high end level of knowhow and craftsmanship in France” says the studio. 

Architects as well as interior designers will be able to effortlessly play with this versatile collection of regular and functional tiles in – a variety of soothing colors and tailored made finishes.
