A living connection between people and place
With this year’s presentation at Salone del Mobile.Milano, MIDJ reaffirmed its guiding philosophy: “Design is a Wonderful Life.” More than just objects, their creations aim to foster spaces that are emotionally resonant and attuned to the rhythms of nature.

At Salone del Mobile 2025, MIDJ embraced a vision that places nature at the core of contemporary living. With a focus on biophilic design, the brand introduced a sensory-rich exhibition that seamlessly blended craftsmanship, sustainability, and innovation. This wasn’t just a showcase of products—it was a curated experience designed to reconnect people with the natural world.
Drawing on earthy tones, natural light, and abundant greenery, MIDJ’s installation created a tranquil refuge amidst the buzz of the fair. Every element—from material to mood—reflected a deeper purpose: to create environments that reduce stress, promote wellbeing, and support a healthier way of living. Within this organic setting, the company introduced several standout designs, each embodying the brand’s ethos of beauty, adaptability, and environmental awareness.

MIDJ – New collections rooted in purpose:
Yak Sofa – by Nicola Bonriposi
Inspired by resilience in nature, the Yak sofa by Bonriposi is designed for both indoor and outdoor environments. Its modular structure and screw-free assembly make it a model of eco-conscious versatility. Crafted with a 100% recyclable EPP frame and water-repellent fabrics, Yak offers plush comfort with a commitment to sustainability. Its soft lines and organic textures evoke the calm and balance of natural landscapes.

Plissé Collection – by Paola Navone
Paola Navone’s Plissé collection returns with new additions, including three coffee tables and a gracefully elliptical dining table. Known for its pleated, fabric-like aesthetic, the collection now expands into more expressive materials—ceramic, marble, wood, and glass—while retaining its elegant simplicity. Ideal for both minimalist and expressive interiors.

Sesamo Table – from Officina delle Idee
Designed with transformation in mind, the Sesamo table offers semi-automatic extensions and a wide range of customizable finishes. From family dinners to design-forward workspaces, its versatility meets modern living demands without sacrificing elegance.

Leo Table – by Paolo Vernier & Officina delle Idee
Minimalism meets engineering in the Leo table, where a slender 26 mm column supports even large marble tops. With a range of material and finish options, Leo becomes a refined companion in diverse settings—from compact bistro corners to curated residential spaces.

Design that lives and breathes
Founded in 1987 in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, MIDJ continues to blend traditional Italian craftsmanship with forward-thinking design. Its in-house innovation hub, Officina delle Idee, remains the brand’s creative core—where sustainability, form, and experimentation converge.
