The premier global B2B furniture event in Southeast Asia is on the horizon
The 31st edition of the Malaysia International Furniture Fair (MIFF) will showcase a diverse array of Malaysian and international exhibitors, presenting their latest products and emerging trends.
Spanning 17 exhibition halls and over 100,000 square meters across two venues, MIFF 2025 promises a comprehensive display of innovations in the furniture industry. Registration is now open for trade buyers to attend the show from March 1 to 4, hosted at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) and the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL).
After an impressive three decades, the event remains the leading furniture marketplace in Southeast Asia, boasting the largest selection of office furniture in the region. As a key highlight on the industry calendar, MIFF serves as the largest export platform for Malaysia’s acclaimed wood furniture, making it an essential event for international buyers seeking high-quality, sustainable products that exemplify both innovation and excellence.
Organizer Informa Markets Malaysia is enhancing its engagement across all platforms, with a strong focus on improving the customer experience by prioritizing business growth, networking opportunities, and hospitality.
“As a pivotal event in Asia’s furniture calendar, MIFF is the gateway for business and cross border opportunities for global growth. Our plan is to elevate the experience to the next level for exhibitors and buyers that evolves around their needs. We want to inspire more fun on the aisles and get more business done, this is where it all happens,” said Ms Kelie Lim, MIFF General Manager.
MIFF’s growth momentum is stronger than ever since becoming the first trade show in Asia to resume in-person events in 2022. A growing number of exhibitors and high-purchasing buyers are returning, looking to expand their customer base or source more suppliers to seize procurement opportunities, mitigate risks, and stay competitive.
The event remains vibrant, offering an extensive range of marketable and stylish designs for all types of furniture, catering to modern urban living, office, and commercial spaces. Leading orders include bedroom, dining, and living room sets, office furniture, chairs, mattresses, and upholstered products. A notable trend on the show floor is the rise of smart furniture for homes and offices, equipped with built-in technology such as charging outlets, USB ports, and integrated lighting.
Alongside the main event, MIFF 2025 continues to support young designers through the xOrdinary Showcase, which highlights their creative works and ideas. Additionally, the MIFF Furniture Design Competition (FDC) encourages emerging talent to pursue fulfilling careers in the industry. These initiatives are central to MIFF’s dedication to fostering creativity and innovation within the furniture sector.
