The Paper Pulp Delivery Briefcase is a corporate chic essential

NOS introduces a sustainable alternative to traditional single-use packaging that boasts superb practicality and allows customization.

Coffee is the most important part of a human’s life,” proclaimed Jerry Seinfeld during his latest appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show. The masterful comedian has a point. Despite abundant flavors and quirky wordings that allow for “dressing up” one’s cup of joe, getting your go-to coffee order in its freshest state possible remains crucial, no matter how distant its origins may be. Thanks to NOS, this conundrum finally receives the attention–and solution–it deserves.

The Mexico-based design studio has created The Paper Pulp Delivery Briefcase, an elegant, compostable, and reusable packaging solution with an integrated tray inside. The tray fits multiple drinks and guarantees temperature-stable, spill-proof, hassle-free transportation. By extension, NOS’s product aims to reduce the overall environmental impact and help mitigate waste in the food delivery industry.

Upon opening it up, the Paper Pulp Delivery Briefcase features a thermoformed clamshell system that saves space in delivery bags and/or containers. Each of the slots forming the tray can embrace drinks of different sizes. The grooves allow the lids to slide in and stay in place. The flexibility makes the briefcase capable of accommodating the standard three drink sizes and a wide range of variations.

Made using lightweight, single-material paper pulp, the Paper Pulp Delivery Briefcase is easy to manufacture and is designed for multiple uses by couriers and delivery services. Its stackable design optimizes counter space: Baristas can quickly place drinks directly inside, close the briefcase up, and seal it for delivery. Once its life cycle ends, the briefcase can be composted or recycled, thus completing a full circle of eco-conscious use.

The Paper Pulp Delivery Briefcase’s straightforward exterior is characterized by its built-in ergonomic handles. There are designated spaces for writing down the order details and adding quality seals or branded stickers (that can showcase the logo or slogan of a coffee shop or restaurant). The briefcase can be customized in a variety of colors, making it adaptable to different types of delivery systems, brand identities, or campaign efforts.

The Paper Pulp Delivery Briefcase isn’t the company’s first successful attempt at sustainable revamping. The studio’s extensive and intriguing portfolio garners the likes of Everloop, a toothbrush made from recycled plastic from discarded toothbrushes with bamboo bristles, and I Gut You, a digital sensor lid and glass container for fermented drinks. Each toothbrush comes with eight sets of bristles, which, based on the 3-month lifespan of a conventional toothbrush, makes the Everloop’s lifespan a minimum of 2 years.

A glass container where any drink can be stored, I Gut You’s lid has a device that monitors acidity (PH) and temperature. The diagonally-placed sensor is, via Bluetooth, linked to an app that monitors and lets you know when the drink is at its best state and when it might expire. With a focus on product development, technological innovation, and branding, NOS prioritizes doing extensive research before tackling any sphere.

Most importantly, the briefcase ensures the delivery of your favorite drink in its most pleasure-inducing state.
