Reimagining Christmas traditions through the lens of design and light
Three architecture studios bring Deltalight Christmas vision to life with creativity, innovation, and sustainability.
During the MilanoDesignXmas 2024 initiative, organized by the event agency TOWANT, we explore the creations presented at the Deltalight showroom. This event was designed with a blend of creativity and purpose: to bring together three design studios and the Brand’s vision, offering a unique interpretation and reimagining of Christmas through the lens of Design.
With expert coordination by TOWANT, renowned for its unconventional architectural events, the studios e45, Giuseppe Tortato Architetti, and Gruppo C14 brought their unique visions to life by designing Christmas trees based on the guidance of their assigned company.

e45
“The central element of e45’s Christmas installation is a set square—a tool that embodies our identity as designers and symbolizes our teamwork. Our design concept was shaped by the context we were tasked to engage with, aiming to accentuate certain existing details. This approach reflects our creative, multidisciplinary, and site-specific philosophy in design.” says the studio.
e45 is an Italian architecture and design studio renowned for its innovative, context-driven projects. The studio specializes in architecture, interior design, and urban planning, blending creativity with functionality.
Giuseppe Tortato Architetti
With a focus on creating spaces that enhance human experience and interaction, the studio integrates light, materials, and nature into its projects.
Talking about their Christmas tree, they explained: “The Christmas tree is crafted by repurposing Delta Light catalogs from the previous year, giving them a new life. As in our architectural projects, light takes center stage: it emerges through the gaps in the books, sculpting the form and creating an evocative interplay of light and shadow.“
Gruppo C14
“EQUILIBRIO SOSPESO stems from our design vision, where form is defined through the mindful use of light, a fundamental element to enhance every detail. Combining innovation and attention to detail, the project translates our values into a work of strong visual and symbolic impact.”
A Milan-based multidisciplinary design studio, Gruppo C14 specializes in architecture, interior design, and creative consultancy. Their projects span commercial, residential, and cultural spaces, always reflecting a harmonious balance between functionality and aesthetic excellence.
