A design cocktail bar, dance club and cultural hub — Feat.Barona is Milan’s new place to be
Set within an evolving urban context, Feat. is a multifunctional and hybrid space that explores different dimensions of socializing.

Being versatile. Transitioning between contexts, shedding old skins, shifting shapes. Adapting, transforming. These are the mantras of an era that demands flexibility. And this fluidity doesn’t just apply to people — it extends to the spaces we inhabit, to the physical places that shape our daily rhythms, whether public or private. The human being feels a growing urge to explore different dimensions of living — driven by curiosity, the need for stimulation, or a desire for self-discovery. Perhaps, it might just be a way of inhabiting the contemporary world.
We often talk about how versatility shapes the world of work, yet little attention is given to how it also permeates the spaces dedicated to leisure and social life. We decided to talk about it through the lens of a new project that’s capturing the hearts of multiple generations in Milan: Feat.Barona, the first cocktail bar in a neighborhood undergoing major urban transformation.

Feat.Barona finds its home within Forrest in Town, a new residential complex born from a project of urban and architectural regeneration. This small village-like development stands on a former industrial site that once hosted the historic Galbani factory. Instead of designing skyscrapers, architect Daniele Fiori envisioned a human-scale neighborhood that blends green architecture, culture, and community life.
It’s within this intimate and welcoming setting that Feat. takes shape: a place for gathering, leisure, and connection, not only for local residents but also for anyone looking to escape the chaos of Milan’s city center.

Feat. is not merely a place to drink and eat, it is a multifaceted space that transforms itself into a cultural hub and the stage for DJ set and live performances. Conceived by Luca Cutrufelli — also the owner of Il Giardino dei Lipari in Sicily — the cocktail bar features an open and fluid layout designed to encourage conviviality. The interiors were curated by Milan-based architecture studio Ganko, led by Nicolà Munaretto and Guido Tesio. Ganko is a multidisciplinary practice working across a variety of scales and disciplines, from urban planning and architecture to interior design and scenography for exhibitions and events.
For the Feat. project, they envisioned a space capable of bringing together diverse worlds — food, drink, mixology, art, and entertainment — in constant dialogue. The place extends across two floors: the ground floor, home to the Feat. Bar, and the basement, where one can find the Feat. Club. These two spaces are perfectly integrated yet fully independent.

Feat. Bar
Modern and elegant in design, refined in style, Feat. Bar is a meticulously crafted space conceived to create a minimalist yet warm and welcoming atmosphere. A long central counter dominates the room, stretching seamlessly along the length of the bar’s wall. Set within an environment of minimalist furnishings, the briar-root counter stands out as a true one-of-a-kind piece.
The extraordinary texture and detail of its surface give it the appearance of a flame cutting through the center of the space. In the Feat. Bar clients can try a selection of signature cocktails by Samuele Lissoni, and experiment with different flavors and traditions.
Feat. Club by Feat.Barona
With its chameleonic look, Feat. Club in the basement is an intimate and highly versatile space. The layout is designed to be multifunctional and easily adaptable: seamlessly transforming from a lounge bar to a dance floor, an exhibition area, or even a private room for corporate events.

The various identities that alternate within the club are made possible by different aspects of its design. The retractable bar counter and the club’s spacious central areas make it the perfect spot to host either DJ set, live performances or exhibitions. The modular RGB lights and the perfect acoustic render it a place equally suited for relaxation and socializing, as well as for business meetings.
In an era that demands flexibility, Feat.Barona embodies the spirit of versatility in both form and function. It is a space that welcomes change and invites exploration. A place where different worlds meet and coexist, mirroring the fluidity of contemporary life. A testament to how urban regeneration can foster new cultural hubs that connect communities and generations.
