During the upcoming Milan Design Week, the new TRIBE hotel at Milan Malpensa, which opened its doors in February, is embracing its bold design ethos, ‘A BOLD DESIGN EDIT,’ to immerse its guests in the year’s most dynamic week.
This event marks the Italian introduction of the TRIBE brand, established in Australia in 2017, and showcases its commitment to modern design through a distinctive mix-and-match approach that ensures the uniqueness of each TRIBE hotel. Similar to its 14 counterparts stretching from Perth to Paris, TRIBE Milan Malpensa has carefully chosen esteemed Italian and global design brands to furnish its public spaces, including the lively central hub, as well as its 240 guest rooms.
The rooms feature uniquely designed furniture, highlighted by the inventive TRIBE Signature bed which offers an ingenious storage solution for luggage beneath it. The inclusion of art pieces and iconic design elements further enriches the atmosphere, enhancing guests’ experiences. The hotel’s standout features include a rooftop terrace with a swimming pool and a lush central garden, which led to a collaboration with TERRASZA, driven by a mutual ambition to cultivate a space dedicated to design-led community gatherings.
This partnership effectively connects the creative hub of TERRASZA MILANO 2024, situated in the central 5VIE district, with the new airport hotel during Design Week. Visitors of the hotel will be treated to a TRIBE DESIGN WEEK experience, complete with thematic graphics, an exhibit, and outdoor furnishings from celebrated brands like Pedrali, Miniforms, Fermob, Fatboy, Midj, and Moustache, showcasing the hotel’s deep engagement with design.
