Meet this wireless charger focused on free movement

Seo Youngeun designs Chau – a conceptual modular charger featuring a charging dock station and wireless charger

Based in Seoul, Seo Youngeun brilliantly designs ‘Chau’ – a conceptual modular charger featuring a charging dock station and wireless charger which is the size of a pop socket, letting one charge on the go without the bulk of portable charging packs.

“Chau means “see you soon” in Spanish and it’s a wireless charger that can move freely.

When one needs to move while charging, from desk to bed or from room to room, they can simply charge the battery by separating the part with the built-in auxiliary battery!” says Seo Youngeun.

Skillfully crafted for WFH circumstances to keep one’s phone running for long – Chau is minimalistically fabricated from silicone and coated in varying eye-catching shades of matte plastic.

An extraordinary charger that can be either mobile or stationary, it innovatively comes in two eclectic parts – a charging dock and a wireless charger.

Its charging dock can be effortlessly plugged into any outlet and comprises two charging stations for products.

Additionally, the raised charging station further holds the auxiliary charger seamlessly in place so users can either leave their phone to charge on the dock or dislodge the auxiliary charger from its magnetic port and charge on the go.
