Valerio Cometti + V12 Design recently showed the latest result of his design studio’s well established collaboration with LaCimbali.

After a long series of successful projects, now the new flagship of professional coffee machines, LaCimbali M200 sees the light.

Cometti’s studio designed LaCimbali M200 coffee machine to be the new reference point in the highly competitive coffee industry.

Each side of this highly technological machine has been patiently honed and perfected: no rear side, no less important angle, the M200 has been designed to be proudly displayed at 360°.

Inspiration comes equally from Italian sports cars from the ‘60s and airplanes, as well as high performing modern consumer electronics devices, where functionality and ergonomics must be class-leading.

The new LaCimbali’s flagship is at the same time extremely solid and very light, flaunting stainless steel finishes that match a solid all-metal frame.

Its swooping curves and cantilevered body exude a sense of gracefulness, yet lead the eye towards the “engine”, the boiler, the true heart of the machine.

The masterful lighting design includes carefully positioned spotlights to combine both functionality and scenic effects.
