Presented at Milan Design Week 2022 and crafted for contemporary chalets and rustic taverns by Japanese designer Tomoko Azumi – ‘Stabellö’ is a family of one-of-a-kind wooden chairs reflecting Röthlisberger’s origins in Swiss carpentry.
Harmoniously blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative engineering as well as cutting-edge technology – Röthlisberger is a Swiss manufacturer of high-end design furniture and interiors.
“Working in close partnership with leading designers, each piece of furniture is a testament to the finest Swiss quality” says Röthlisberger.
Stabellö skillfully demonstrates their interest in the latest technology and precision craftsmanship in their environmentally friendly factory.
“They say home is where the heart is and these chairs with their unique alluring aesthetic have been at the heart of countless spaces in the German-speaking alpine region for centuries” Röthlisberger adds.
Seamlessly featuring a Japanese awareness of shape, expressed simply and gracefully with an international appeal – Tomoko Azumi brilliantly re-interprets this classic design with a minimalistic warm Scandinavian feel.
Available in two different backrests and as a stool – it’s the perfect versatile candidate for family homes, contemporary lofts, mountain chalets as well as trendy bars.
The seat and turned legs are fabricated from solid wood, while the characteristic backrest is ergonomically molded and flexible, making it undeniably extremely comfortable.
Additionally, its practical finger holes in the backrest and milled indentation under the seat – makes it lighter as well as easier to lift.
