Redefining bathroom design with Italian craftsmanship and innovation
Archeda deeply values culture and sharing as tools that inspire and allow us to fully embrace the beauty around us.
Established in 1996 in Porcia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Archeda is a family-owned business specializing in the creation of bathroom furniture, accessories, and complements. Archeda designs bathroom systems that adapt seamlessly to the evolving needs of modern homes.
With multifunctional solutions, these systems transform bathrooms into personalized spaces dedicated to self-care and well-being. Each collection reflects a unique narrative, combining research and innovation to anticipate trends and lifestyle changes. Founders Maurizio Poletto and Piergiorgio Verardo envisioned bringing beauty and innovation to bathroom design, offering a diverse range of furnishing solutions to elevate the space.
Their expertise stems from a rich tradition of craftsmanship and a passion for design, embodying the resilience and foresight characteristic of “made in Italy” entrepreneurs. The second generation has already joined the company, bringing a clear and determined vision for the future.
“Returning to my roots has always been a life aspiration of mine. Over the years I have felt the need to experience and learn about the world of work outside Italy”, says Alberto Poletto, Maurizio’s son, “but my desire to contribute to our family business to create design furniture was alive. With my arrival at Archeda, I want to transmit my energy and carry on the deep values that have been passed on to me since childhood. There are many goals that I am setting myself and that I would like to achieve in the short term, such as the development of digitisation processes, to guarantee even faster and more innovative services, or the expansion into new foreign markets, with the intention of growing and passing on the core values thanks to which Archeda was born.”
Archeda produces bathroom furniture, complements, and accessories at its Porcia site, spanning 4,000 square meters. Over 30% of the workforce has been with the company for 20 years, reflecting a strong bond between the business and its skilled employees. These professionals expertly process raw materials, assemble, and craft design pieces to deliver high-quality, durable products.
A digital configurator enables customers to design their bathrooms directly from a computer, adding to the company’s customer-focused approach. The company is committed to sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly materials such as wood and glass, adopting environmentally conscious production processes, and prioritizing product longevity. Its energy needs are met through photovoltaic panels installed on the company’s rooftops, further reducing its environmental footprint.
The brand is distributed through specialized thermo-hydro-sanitary and furniture shops across Italy. Internationally, Europe—particularly France—represents a key market through traditional distribution channels. In the United States, Archeda focuses on the Boutique Contract sector, working with architects and design professionals in cities like Miami, New York, and Chicago.
