Designed for both residential and contract spaces, the ornamental chandelier works as a decorative centerpiece and an efficient light source. Current styles include Lotus and Phalaenopsis flowers, Ivy, Poppies, Magnolias and Anthuriums. Delicate pink, vibrant red, warm orange, and bright yellow petals form alluring bouquets suspended from champagne-finished metal round plates, which can either be recessed or flush-mounted on the ceiling to taste.
The key here is customisation—everything from the base size to the type of flowers, the number of lamps and their shape. It enables users to realise their own vision, whether that be a pastel-coloured, table-length arrangement for spring-inspired interiors or a single chandelier for a cosy, romantic setting.
Also inspired by nature, the Scandinavian brand Vestre presented its latest collection Habitats through an immersive ‘utopia of biodiversity’.
VG’s Flower Power concept can also be tailored to suit more commercial settings like Audi’s E-Tron Energy Bar, a luxury lounge at the heart of the Swiss Alps. Its focal point is a series of Flower Power Lotus chandeliers, which feature clusters of crystal egg pendants wrapped in vine leaves as a symbol of the brand’s commitment to sustainable technology and natural inspirations.
Flower Power is a chandelier ready to accompany every occasion, from anniversaries to weddings and every other milestone celebration, which is why VGnewtrend has unveiled many iterations over the years. They include a special holiday edition, the Flower Power Poinsettia, which decorates crystal cylinders with the plant’s characteristic red and green hues, and one of our personal favourites, the Flower Power Tulip, an “ode to spring” combining these perennial blooms with textured pipes with striking effect.
The Flower Power concept captures perfectly the charm of flora and fauna with a sustainable and biophilic modular design inspired by nature. Moreover, VG has tested and patented a series of surfaces, made of two tempered glasses including a layer of real wood; thus highlighting its natural veining.
Meanwhile, glass surfaces that are available in several dimensions and shapes can be matched with top-quality types of wood carefully selected from areas where deforestation is strictly weighed. The resulting effect is something fantastical, where vertical gardens bring the beauty of the changing seasons inside.
