The trailblazing initiative by world-renowned lighting company Signify is transforming the lighting industry through radically advanced 3D printing technology and a profound commitment to sustainability. The exhilarating agenda set to unfurl during Milan Design Week conveys why the platform is currently at the top of its game.

Signify myCreation is on a mission to responsibly light up the world one luminaire at a time. Rooted in creative collaboration and a commitment to sustainability, leading lighting powerhouse Signify’s innovative platform empowers brands, startups, and designers to construct truly unique luminaires tailored to their identity, vision, and needs. By using an intuitive online configurator, creatives can select from a rich range of shapes, colors, textures, and lighting specifications and masterfully create personalized, bold designs. The platform offers over 190 design variants, enabling the crafting of lighting solutions that seamlessly integrate into retail, hospitality, business, and residential spaces. Plus, all their functional lighting solutions are highly energy-efficient and can be seamlessly integrated with connected systems to save even more.

The company is set to make a striking return to Milan Design Week 2025, with an elegant bar at Milan’s Palazzo Giureconsulti, designed in collaboration with Dekker Zevenhuizen and Triboo, and illuminated entirely by a carefully curated selection of some of its most enthralling award-winning luminaires. The unmissable installation will feature the Gleam and Smooth luminaires alongside the Voila table lamp–designs that exemplify Signify myCreation’s fusion of functionality and sophisticated aesthetics, showcasing how lighting can simultaneously be environmentally friendly and imaginative. An exclusive preview of a brand new addition to the Smooth Spotlight series will take center stage as well–the unparalleled design promises superb adaptability, allowing it to be tailored precisely to fit any environment.

Designed by Sebastian Bergne, Gleam is a refined bulb-based pendant light that encapsulates the renowned British industrial designer’s distinct ability to bring gentle bursts of wonder to everyday objects and thus elevate them to ones of affection. Marked by its serenity-infused heptagon-inspired silhouette, Gleam is available in multiple sizes. While the inflated design allows for a more dynamic and dimensional overall effect, the deflated design is more pared down and essentialist. Each design aligns with the 3D print grain as all printed parts are made using only ISCC Plus certified bio-circular materials. Through its minimalism and fragility, Gleam can create an intimate atmosphere as much as it can serve as an interior accent with its whimsical composition.

The Gleam lighting pendant family, all winners of the 2025 iF Design Award, is a sublime assortment of lighting objects that reimagines the simplistic glowing pendant globe through alternative geometry and Bergne’s signature spark. The pieces’ horizontal form lines shape a skeleton of uninterrupted harmony thanks to the outstanding flexibility of 3D printed manufacturing. Each of an unduplicatable presence and allure, Gleam is available in 3 sizes and one mesmerizing texture.

A Royal College of Art graduate, Bergne founded his eponymous studio in 1990 and his achievements in the realm of design have since been commemorated with many international design awards and showcased at exhibitions dedicated to his craft–at New York’s Museum of Modern Art and London’s Design Museum among others. Having garnered wide experience and lessons to share, Bergne now acts as a curator, lecturer, and mentor to emerging design talent as well.

Robustly customizable and energy-efficient, the minimalist spotlight’s honeycomb accessory facilitates reduced glare and better light distribution. Its circular design allows for it to also be upgradeable throughout its lifetime.

An enchanting family of functional as they are charmingly proportioned table lamps, the Voila collection is characterized by its vibrant color palette and playful presence. The table lamps’ petite mushroom silhouettes–a nod to 1960s interior design–render the lighting object eye-catching and exquisite. Whether placed on a sideboard or a desk, the single light source simultaneously shines upward and down creating a mesmerizing diffused light with a mandala effect through the crafted underside of the lampshade.

The Voila lamps are crafted from bio-circular materials such as biomass and natural waste which are then processed into polycarbonate, a sustainable plastic. With lightness as its core, the versatile piece can complement and enrich any color scheme or interior in unmatched ways. The winner of the 2022 iF Design Award is available in a wide range of colors such as white, bronze, gold, pink, green, and more.
